Let’s be honest, travel’s great, but showing up to a city with zero context feels like flipping to the last chapter of a book and hoping it still hits. That’s where Curious Jetsetter comes in.

This isn’t a personal blog about someone’s trip to Italy and how the gelato changed their life.  Nor is it a dry history lesson.  It’s something in between – a smart, insightful, curiosity driven travel guide that connects the dots between where you’re going and why it matters.

Founded by Kate (lover of maps, history, and a well-planned itinerary), Curious Jetsetter is a place for travelers who want a little more than a “go-here” travel advice.  It’s for the ones who want hint of the romantic backstory behind the landmarks or the hidden gems, with their general travel advice to help them decide where to go and what they want to see! 

It’s certainly not about knowing everything you need to know about the tourist destination, but to know enough that you want to head over there and let the local tour guide tell you the rest.   

We hope to sprinkle our travel advice with intriguing info on cultural roots, add a historical layer, or some offer an offbeat tidbit about our recommendations so you walk in feeling more like an explorer than a tourist.
